How strikes work in Portugal
Unions must announce a strike in advance, and for public transport a minimum level of service ("serviços mínimos") is often set. Minimum services can still mean most trains or Metro trains do not run, so plan as if the service will be largely closed.
Strikes are sometimes called off at the last minute, so check again the evening before.
