Status

When
2–6 October 2026
Affects
easyJet (Lisbon, Porto and Faro bases)

Cabin crew at easyJet's Lisbon, Porto and Faro bases struck for five days over working conditions and their company agreement. Afterwards their union, SNPVAC, said 370 flights had been cancelled, most of them before the strike began, and that every Portugal-based crew member took part. easyJet said it expected to complete 428 of the 786 flights it had first planned to and from Portugal, partly with crews from bases outside Portugal, and rejected the union's claim that this was illegal. Other airlines were not affected.

What to do

In an airline crew strike only that airline's flights are affected. Check your booking in the airline's app before leaving for the airport, and keep every email about a cancellation or delay.
