easyJet (Lisbon, Porto and Faro bases)

easyJet cabin crew at Lisbon, Porto and Faro struck on five days, 26, 28 and 30 May and 1 and 3 June, the second strike in the SNPVAC union's pay dispute with the airline. Before it began, the union said easyJet had already cancelled 384 of the 458 flights planned from the three bases (84%). The union counted 224 cancellations on the first three days and said every crew member took part; easyJet put turnout at 60% on the third day.

What to do

In an airline crew strike only that airline's flights are affected. Check your booking in the airline's app before leaving for the airport, and keep every email about a cancellation or delay.

If your flight was cancelled or badly delayed, see your EU rights when a strike cancels a flight: a refund or another flight, meals and a hotel, and when compensation is due.
