- easyJet (Lisbon, Porto and Faro bases)
The SNPVAC union has called a second five-day strike by cabin crew at easyJet's Lisbon, Porto and Faro bases, on the busy days before Christmas. It follows the 2–6 October strike, when the union said 370 flights were cancelled. Minimum services cover only a few routes: on each strike day, two Lisbon–Funchal and two Porto–Funchal round trips, one Lisbon–London round trip, and a small number of flights to Porto Santo, Geneva, Basel, Nantes, Bordeaux, Luxembourg and Cabo Verde.
What to do
If you fly easyJet to or from Lisbon, Porto or Faro on 19–23 December, watch for an email from easyJet in the days before and check your flight in its app. Flights crewed from easyJet bases outside Portugal are not part of the strike. If your flight is cancelled, EU rules let you choose between a refund and a new flight.
