easyJet (Lisbon, Porto and Faro bases)

The third easyJet cabin crew strike of 2023 ran for five days, Friday 21 to Tuesday 25 July, at the Lisbon, Porto and Faro bases. The SNPVAC union called it after about 90% of its members rejected easyJet's pay offer; easyJet said the union's own proposal amounted to a 44% rise in total pay. The union said easyJet cancelled about 350 flights in advance, 69% of those due to leave the three bases on the strike days. On 22 July easyJet put turnout at 50% and the union at about 90%.

What to do

In an airline crew strike only that airline's flights are affected. Check your booking in the airline's app before leaving for the airport, and keep every email about a cancellation or delay.

If your flight was cancelled or badly delayed, see your EU rights when a strike cancels a flight: a refund or another flight, meals and a hotel, and when compensation is due.
