We only show headlines, short excerpts (300 characters or less), thumbnails and links to the original source, and we play videos exclusively through the official YouTube embedded player. What to include in a notice

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  3. The URL(s) on our service where the material appears.
  4. Your contact information (address, telephone number and email).
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Our process

  1. We acknowledge valid notices, normally within 2 business days.
  2. We hide the identified items immediately and, where a whole source is involved, disable that source so no new items are collected.
  3. We notify the affected party where appropriate. Counter-notices meeting 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) requirements may be sent to the same address.
  4. Repeat infringers are permanently removed.

Publisher opt-out

Publishers who simply prefer not to be aggregated can email us from an address at their domain and we will disable their feed — no legal notice required.
